Here are a few prayer requests from our Summer Missionaries:
From Thailand: Pray for new friends, O. and M. that they would come to know the love of Christ.
From Maine: Pray that the college students we meet would be open to the Gospel.
From Montana: Pray for the VBS which will start this week. Pray for the youth girls who want more of God in their lives.
From TN Travel Teams: Pray that they will have continued unity of their teams and that they will be able to reach many for Christ and be His hands and feet.
For ALL the Summer Missionaries: Pray for strength and stamina (emotionally and physically). Pray for the students that they will be able to find quiet times that they can use to draw closer to God. Pray they will continue to show the love of Jesus to everyone they meet!
Mexico Summer Missionaries
We worked with a ministry called Project Fortify. We held an event for disabled children at a local place in Reynosa with a swimming pool for the kids to swim. The team played games with the kids, made crafts, painted faces and fingernails. We also had a photo booth for the families. Around twenty families showed up so we provided a meal for them, a basket full of hygiene products, rice and beans. On Monday and Tuesday we served at Pilar de Esperanza Orphanage digging a trench for a new tire shop, weed eating, painting and helping with a water leak. We also played soccer and had a water balloon fight with the kids. Lots of fun!! On Wednesday, we served at Horeb Baptist Church by painting the outside of the church, as well as mudding the drywall and sanding.
