Skylar Haws is a senior at Vanderbilt and is the BCM president. He was admitted into the hospital last week . The doctors found a large tumor in his abdomen, which turned out to be cancer. The tumor is pressing against his lungs and his heart causing blood clots. He will start chemotherapy this week to kill the tumor, followed by surgery to remove the tumor, followed by more chemotherapy and radiation. He is scheduled to graduate in May and was to attend Ohio State for medical school in the fall. Please pray for Skylar, his family, and the physicians as they seek to treat him. Pray also for the BCM at Vanderbilt and Thom Thornton, the collegiate minister.
The Finals are coming, the finals are coming, the finals are here!!
Please pray for students as they finish the semester! Pray that can use this time wisely and study!
